Square jaw correction procedure, incisions are made inside the mouth with the use of an endoscope and an operating saw.Not only will the angular jawbone be resected, but the operated area as well will be resected to create a natural looking curve.
It is important to remove the bone in a crescent shape, for it produces the best contours, and it also helps to reduce bleeding after surgery.
Since the degree of protrusion varies with each person, X-ray and CT scans are required to estimate the shape and size of the bone to be resected.

Hello, i'm a french girl living in paris, i'm 22 years old, and i had 2 weeks ago a jaw surgery like you. I'm so disappointed because i can not see the difference before/after my surgery, maybe i have to wait... I wanted to know "after how many weeks could you enjoy the result???" - Actually i had a really square jaw, and i wanted a really change in my face. Moreover, the surgery fees were so expensive, i paid about 7000€ and it was only the 2nd jaw surgery for the doctor, he didn't have enough experience in jaw reduction. Today i really regret to had jaw surgery with this doctor (also if he's one of the best in Paris). I hope you can help me, i feel so disappointed, so bad. Could you tell me who made your surgery ? In which country ? How much did you pay ? How many days did you stay in the hopital ? It's really important for me, i can move easily cause i'm working for airline.

As for these patient who had this surgery she get to see her permanent result in 3-4mths time.
And she paid 5K usd for her mandible reduction only.
For this surgery u juz need to stay in korea for a week and u may return back to ur country for recuperation.

I'm currently in Seoul on & will return to Singapore on 10Jan.
My next upcoming trip to BKDY will be in March2011 & May2011 ( actual date not fix yet ) only when i'm back to Singapore then i'll start planning the dates with patients.
April, June & July is not confirm yet but not to worry cos definitely there will be patient requesting me to set the dates on these months.
